We had a great time rowing the River Wey from Guildford to Weybridge on 21st/22nd August, with the City Barge Company from London, rowing in a traditional Shallop. Here are some photos. International Racing !On Sunday 14th February, two Weyfarers crews took part in the Handicap d'Hiver organised by Royal Sport Nautique de Bruxelles. This is a rather unusual Head Race (long distance time trial), over 5 km, with the slowest boats starting first and the fastest at the back, the aim being that they should all finish together. Our crews came 32nd and 35th overall, which is not bad considering that most of the rowers only started last year. Details and photographs here. |

Hide A'WeyThe Weyfarers summerhouse is in need of a facelift. We will be organising a painting party in the next few weeks, but in the meantime we could do with some help with cleaning. We also need curtains, a new fridge, kettle and bunk beds, so if you can donate any of these items they will be gratefully received. |
